Plant bulbs 4-6 inches deep, pointed end up. Space 4-6 inches apart. Prefers well-draining soil. Best planted in October-November for winter-spring blooms. Water moderately after planting.
Full sun to partial shade. Water during active growth, reduce after blooming. Allow foliage to die back naturally to nourish bulbs. Fertilize in spring with bulb fertilizer. Store in cool dry place in summer.
Blooms in 12-16 weeks from planting. Best in cooler temperatures (5-15°C at night). Each bulb produces 1-3 stems with large double flowers. Excellent for cut flowers and spring displays.
