Amaryllis Lily Double (Hippeastrum spp.) produces spectacular double-petalled, trumpet-shaped blooms in rich reds, pinks, and whites. The double variety offers twice the drama with lush, full flowers that make stunning indoor and garden displays.

Plant bulbs with the top one-third above soil level in well-draining potting mix. Use 6-8 inch deep pots. Water sparingly until growth appears. Best planted October to December for winter blooms.
Bright indirect light indoors, or partial sun outdoors. Water moderately — allow soil to dry slightly between waterings. Feed with liquid fertilizer every 2 weeks during growing season. Avoid cold drafts.
Blooms in 6-8 weeks from planting. Each bulb produces 1-2 stems with 4-6 large double flowers each. Blooms last 3-4 weeks. Store dry in summer dormancy for repeat blooming.
